â€œUnderstanding the Problems of Inland Waters: Case Study for the Caspian Basin” (UPCB) is an International Conference which took place in Baku from 12 to 14 May 2018.

Organised by the Inter-Islamic Science and Technology Network on Oceanography (INOC) in partnership with the Institute of Geography of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS)the UPCB Conference aims at increasing the exchange of international scientific cooperation and the knowledge on the specific features (and future possible scenarios) of the region.

The event is an interesting opportunity to analyse the present situation of the Caspian Basin and to discuss the potential future development in terms of International cooperation in the region. It will involve prestigious academics from different countries (France, Russia, Turkey, Switzerland, Azerbaijan) on scientific themes of great interest, which will examine in depth the specific features of the nowadays Caspian Basin situation, in order to share potential solutions for the future.

Frame Agreement Extension for Shah Deniz

Lighthouse Azerbaijan Branch proudly announces the sign of a 4-years extension of the existing Frame Agreement with Saipem Netherland – Azerbaijan Branch. The two Companies have signed a new revision of the existing frame agreement, which concerns Survey and Positioning Support Activities, extending its term until 2022.

The survey activities Lighthouse is going to provide will fall under the project Shah Deniz – Stage 2, where Saipem and its consortium partners Bos-Shelf and Star Gulf have been recently awarded with the call-off 007 Master Agreement by BP, on behalf of the Shah Deniz partnership.

Enrico Sassi, Lighthouse General Manager, declares: â€œWe are pleased to have secured a new extension of the Frame Agreement with SAIPEM in Baku. Lighthouse is operating as Survey Provider in Azerbaijan since the 2012 and I can’t hide my pride for the reliability and the reputation built during these years.

Azerbaijan Branch obtains ISO 9001/2008 Certification

On 5th of August 2016, Lighthouse Azerbaijan Branch has obtained its ISO 9001/2008 certification as integration of the existing one for the Italian headquarter. The achievement is the International Quality recognition of 4 years of non-stop activities in the Caucasian Republic as Offshore Survey Provider. During this period, the Branch has developed with great commitment a local Quality Management System, as well an extensive expertise in providing survey, positioning services and equipment. And today we are proud to be considered a leader Company in the Azerbaijani market. The certification confirms and underlines the mission of Lighthouse as Customer-focused Company, which aims at providing customized high-standard services.
