]]> Ocean Business, the not to be missed international event for ocean technology, took place in Southampton last week. LIGHTHOUSE participated as always with great enthusiasm and interest, meeting face to face with partners, suppliers and exhibitors from across the globe.
A great exhibition where the very latest products and services in the field have been showcased and the most important actors of the sector could be easily put in connection. A rich calendar full of very qualified lectures and practical demonstrations, organised by a careful team. The final evaluation can only be positive.

Ocean Business has allowed us once again to deal with customers, suppliers and dealers in a productive way. At our stand both AGEOTEC ROV Sirio and Lyra have been showcased to interested visitors. A special thanks goes to Qstar, L3 Calzoni and Nutecmar, precious and enthusiastic partners, happily hosted at our stand.

Moreover, the recognition received from Norbit, which places us in third position among the “top five award partner”– in honour of outstanding excellence in sales performance in 2016, fill us of proud positivity.

After a couple of years of sector contraction, mainly due to the international economic crisis, the feeling after this exhibition is that the market is finally back on an upward trend.

]]> GAS will attend the OB 2015 – Ocean Business Exhibition in Southampton, from 14th to 16th April 2015.

Ocean Business is one of the most important ocean technology event of the year.
The exhibition, bringing together the world’s leading manufacturers and services providers, will be attended by more than 300 companies looking to promote their products and services within the oceanographic, offshore survey, maritime defense, environmental monitoring and pollution control, ports and harbours, renewable energy and marine engineering industries.

At OB 2015 visitors will meet face to face with exhibitors from across the globe, showcasing the very latest products and services in this field.

The purpose built exhibition centre is located directly on the waterfront of the National Oceanography Centre, an internationally renowned centre of excellence for oceanographic technology and sciences based in Southampton in the UK.

During the trade show, it will be possible to attend over 180 hours of training and demonstration sessions and see the latest products and services in action.

Moreover, OB 2015 organizes various associated meetings held by industry professionals, and a very interesting Offshore Survey: a two-day technical conference, providing a valuable insight into technology, operations and business issues in the global field of offshore surveying.
